Councillor April Garfield-Kidd
(Londonderry Waterside)
April is the daughter of former Mayor of Londonderry Mildred Garfield and
would like to continue to build on the foundations that her mother has laid
for politics in this city and in the DUP. April is employed as a ‘Special
Needs Classroom Assistant’ in a local college. Coming from an educational
background, April is passionate about encouraging learning and education
for all.
April is a member of the Churchill Flute Band and an avid supporter of Orange
Lodges and British Culture.
April is an able and articulate advocate of the unionist cause and is passionate
about building thriving and confident unionist communities throughout Londonderry.
